This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you visit our websites, purchase our products, or interact with our services.

4. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to comply with laws or regulations, respond to lawful requests or legal process, or protect our rights and prevent fraud.

Business Transfers

If Productech is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide products and services to you. You will be notified of any such change via email or a prominent notice on our website.

4A. TREBLAB MOBILE APP

This section applies to the TREBLAB mobile app (Android and iPhone).

Account. If you create an account, we collect your email address, and your name if you give it. Signing in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, and you may sign in with Google. We never see your password.

Information saved to your account. To follow you across your phones, we store in your account: your custom equalizer presets; your recently played lists (stations, podcasts and tracks you opened in the app); where you left off in the last item; and your app settings (for example theme, shuffle and repeat). This is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore). You can delete it by contacting us (see Section 9).

Music on your phone. The app reads the music folder you choose, including song details and cover art, only on your phone. Your music files are never uploaded to us.

Streaming services. The app can play internet radio, podcasts, Audius and SoundCloud. When you search or play, requests go to those services, or through our server for SoundCloud, and they receive technical information such as your IP address and what you searched for or played. Their own privacy policies apply to them.

Optional SoundCloud sign-in. If you sign in with SoundCloud, you log in on SoundCloud’s own page. We never receive your SoundCloud password. Our server stores a sign-in token and your SoundCloud display name and picture, so we can show your likes, playlists and followed artists. Signing out of SoundCloud in the app ends that session.

Bluetooth and notifications. The app uses Bluetooth to find and connect to your TREBLAB products and to show battery level and connection alerts. This information stays on your phone. Notifications and background audio are used for playback controls and optional alerts.

Children. The app is not intended for children under 13.

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar technologies to enable website functionality, analyze performance, personalize user experience, and deliver relevant advertising. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for full details on the types of cookies we use and how to manage your preferences.

6. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

You may receive promotional emails from us if you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. You can opt out at any time by:

Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional or order-related communications.

7. DATA SECURITY

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption protocols and PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill orders, provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal data retention schedules.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

Right to Know: The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you.
Right to Delete: The right to request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Correct: The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell your personal information. However, if you believe your data is being shared for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may opt out.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may request that we limit the use of sensitive personal information to that which is necessary for providing our services.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

For EEA/UK users, such transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable data transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. By using our services, you acknowledge this transfer.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.
