    What is the difference between TREBLAB XR100 and TREBLAB XR500?

    The main difference between the two models is their water resistance rating. The XR100 is rated IPX4, while the XR500 is rated IPX7. This means the XR500 will not be damaged by rain or even in the shower.

    Also, the XR500 has an optimal shape for experiencing maximum bass response and comfort.

    What is the difference between TREBLAB X11 and TREBLAB RF100?

    Both the RF100 and the X11 wireless headphones provide amazing quality of sound, comfort, and unbelievable battery performance and come with a microphone and call management system – so you can’t go wrong whichever one you choose.

    The main difference between the RF100 and the X11 is the intention behind each of them.

    The RF100 was created with stylish, fashion-conscious people in mind. At the same time, the X11 is all about sports! So if you like to work out hard and push yourself to the limit, we would recommend the X11. If you need earbuds that also function as an accessory, go with the RF100.

    Fitting advice

    Everyone has individual anatomic features, which is why there are some critical points in fitting earbuds that you need to pay attention to.

    First, the key to a proper earphone fit is using the right size ear tip. Try all of the various sizes of foam and silicone tips that come with your earphones. Foam tips are the most flexible option for size differences, and are an excellent option for hard-to-fit ears. In this case, to achieve comfort and the perfect fit, you might also find it useful to buy specialized tips.

    Also, kindly note that one of your ears may be slightly larger than the other (this is normal!), so you may need to use a different size tip for each ear.

    Secondly, set the ear tip by firmly, but gently pulling on the outer rim of your ear to ease the tip into a comfortable position. You should notice a drop in ambient noise when the tip is seated correctly; when you're listening to music, you'll notice more range, especially bass.

    Thirdly, to secure the tip in your ear, try--even while using the grips--looping the cable that connects them behind your head and around the top of each ear.

    Will TREBLAB earphones pair with my boombox/recorder/record player?

    1. Set the buds to Discovery Mode by pressing and holding the Home button until you see blue and red LEDs flashing.
    2. Find “TREBLAB” in your Bluetooth menu on your device and click “TREBLAB”.

    THERE IS A MUFFLED/RATTLING QUALITY TO THE SOUND. HOW DO I RESOLVE THIS?

    All our customers agree that TREBLAB earphones produce a rich and crisp sound. If you don't experience high quality listening, something’s probably gone wrong.

    If the sound is seemingly a bit off, check the equalizer preset on your device. Also, be mindful of the source – bitrates of the track could dramatically reduce the final sound quality.

    Also, we will ask you to troubleshoot the earphones (in most cases this procedure resolves the sound issue) by performing the following steps:

    1. Connect the earbuds to a power source.
    2. While connected to a source power press and hold the power button for 7 seconds.
    3. Try to connect again by following the steps for connecting.

    Battery Life



    To get maximum battery power, make sure that the headphones are fully charged. It is very important that you do not overcharge them either. Charge for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.

    Also, only use the supplied cable to charge.

    The battery doesn’t hold charge anymore, what should I do?

    We are very sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with the headphones not sufficiently holding a charge.

    We recommend that you reset the earphones by performing the following steps:

    1. Connect the earbuds to a power source.
    2. While connected to the power source, press and hold the Power button for 7 seconds.
    3. Try to connect again by following the steps for connecting.

    Pairing and connection problems



    If you experince pairing and connection problems, please do a Full Reset:

    1. Reset the earphones to factory settings (while plugged in press/hold the power button for 7 seconds).
    2. Go to your device's Bluetooth menu and delete all saved devices from the list by clicking “forget this device”.
    3. Turn your device's Bluetooth off then turn back on. TREBLAB earbuds will be deleted.
    4. Power off the device then turn back on.
    5. Unplug TREBLAB from charging cable then power on.
    6. Enter the earbuds into the pairing mode and follow instructions below for connecting:
    A. Set the buds to discovery mode, by pressing and holding the home button until you see blue and red led’s flashing.
    B. Find “TREBLAB” in your Bluetooth menu on your device and click “TREBLAB”.

    This should solve the connection and range problems.
    Please note: For the Bluetooth earbuds to work properly the signal has to have a straight path from the device to the earbuds. If the path has any sort of blocks, or the distance between the devices is over 35 feet, the signal might break. This is a normal occurrence for all Bluetooth headphones. We advise you to keep that in mind when using the product.

    THE BLUETOOTH SIGNAL KEEPS CUTTING OUT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    Please reset the earbuds and re-establish their connection to your device:

    1. Reset the earphones to factory settings (while plugged in press and hold the power button for 7 seconds).
    2. Go to your device's Bluetooth menu and delete all saved devices from the list by clicking “forget this device”.
    3. Turn your device's Bluetooth off then turn it back on. TREBLAB earbuds will be deleted.
    4. Power off the device then turn back on.
    5. Unplug TREBLAB from charging cable then power on.
    6. Enter the earbuds into the pairing mode and follow instructions below for connecting:

  • California’s Proposition 65

    California’s Proposition 65

    You may have noticed a warning label on certain products from TREBLAB and other headset manufacturers that reads: ⚠️ Warning: Cancer and Reproductive Harm – www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/






    What does the warning mean?

    In 1986, California passed a law called “Proposition 65.” This law requires manufacturers to include a warning on any product sold in the state if it may contain any of the over 1000 chemicals on a list compiled by California regulators. While these chemicals were identified as harmful by only the State of California—not by federal regulators or those in other states—a manufacturer’s failure to comply with labeling requirements brings with it substantial costs and penalties.






    Is it safe to use labeled products?

    Yes. All TREBLAB products are safe when used as instructed. Our products comply with all federal and state laws—including those in California—for both safety and restricted substances. The warning label is simply a notice that a product may include a substance found on the Proposition 65 list, which is quite broad and subject to change. Proposition 65 has required warnings on many ordinary, everyday products—such as coffee, vinegar, and fish—that are sold and purchased in California.






    Why would TREBLAB need to put a warning on a product that is safe?

    Proposition 65 disregards the fact that a product meets federal and state safety standards. If there is a possibility a product contains even a trace amount of any chemical on the Proposition 65 list, it must carry the warning label. Otherwise, the manufacturer must prove it falls below the minimum exposure level determined by California or face penalties. What constitutes “exposure” is not clearly defined, which means that is often determined in court. For a manufacturer, there are substantial legal costs associated with contesting a Proposition 65 case. Because adding a warning label eliminates this risk of litigation, TREBLAB and many other manufacturers have decided to simply include the Proposition 65 warning.






    I didn’t buy this product in California. Why does it have a Proposition 65 warning label?

    TREBLAB products are distributed throughout the U.S. Our retailers’ warehouses routinely serve multiple states, including California. Therefore, we faced potential costs and penalties related to Proposition 65 if an unlabeled product were mistakenly sent to California. For this reason, we chose to include the warning on every product, regardless of purchase location.






    Does California require evidence of harm to humans before adding a chemical to the Proposition 65 list?

    No. California requires no evidence of harm or likelihood of harm to humans in order to add a chemical to the Proposition 65 list. Evidence from animal testing—even when such testing has been conducted with exposure at absurd dosages—has been sufficient.






    Can a chemical be considered safe by the FDA and the EPA and still be on the Proposition 65 list?

    Yes. Because of their reliance on animal testing and questionable doses, California has included chemicals on the Proposition 65 list that have been studied and found safe by the FDA & EPA.
